Reports of bricked Macs have been spreading around the internet lately. It is believed to be an issue in the update that is corrupting the firmware on Macs. This is a problem that shouldn't bee happening when you pay lots of money for a premium product such as a MacBook. This is something that I wouldn't expect from Apple.
As most of us know, MacOS Catalina drops support for 32-Bit Apps. I will not be updating any of my Macs until I see a 32-Bit compatibility layer release. You can think of the compatibility layer being similar to Rosetta, Apple's solution for using PowerPC OS X Apps on an Intel Mac running 10.4.3, 10.5, or 10.6.8.
